“Strong back. Soft front. Wild heart.”

-Brene Brown

Hi, I’m Kelsi Adams, LICSW. I am an independently licensed clinical social worker in Washington State. I earned my Bachelor’s degree in Human Development from Washington State University, focusing on families and marriages, and went on to complete my Master’s in Social Work at Eastern Washington University.

I work with adolescents and adults, and over the years I’ve developed a wide range of clinical experience—supporting at-risk youth, working in crisis settings, walking with clients through end-of-life issues, and helping people heal from trauma and PTSD. I care deeply about family systems and the complicated, beautiful ways we grow within (and sometimes away from) them.

I have a special passion for supporting people who are raising neurodivergent kids, as well as those who are exploring a late diagnosis (or self-suspected) of Attention Deficit Hyperactivity Disorder (ADHD) or Autism (ASD). I’ve completed advanced trainings in supporting, treating, and diagnosing neurodivergent clients, and I approach this work with lived experience, clinical knowledge, and a whole lot of respect. As a neurodiverse person, I understand what it’s like to move through the world in ways that aren’t always recognized or supported—and how powerful it can be to work with someone who gets it.

Outside of therapy, you can usually find me grounding in nature, walking with my dogs, tending to the land I love, or simply creating space for quiet. I believe that humor, curiosity, and self-compassion are essential to the healing process—and I bring all of those into my work.
